Daniel Baeder is an internationally recognized drummer, musician, producer, and arranger, who has accomplished a high number of achievements in just over 30 years. His artistically-infused home city of Sao Paulo, Brazil made an impact on him at a young age, and by nine years old, he began his journey into the world of music through a variety of instruments. His passion allows him to explore a variety of musical genres, from Drum n bass and Jazz, to Brazilian and Samba, to a large fusion of many others, while always leaving his own imprint of style in each of his pieces. Daniel has studied under many internationally renowned musicians, like Vera Figueiredo and Tommy Campbell, along with playing with the likes of musicians Duda Neves, Zé Pedro, and Marcelo Migg. His work has earned him recognition from some of the most-respected industry publications such as Modern Drummer, Cover Batera and Rock Brigade. In 2006, the culmination of his hard work and talent earned him a distribution deal with Mar Creation for USA, Europe and Japan.
Daniel has recorded over 20 independent albums as a producer and arranger, released a solo CD entitled 'Abranda Raiva/Daniel Baeder' in 2006, performed in premier venues all over the world. Recently, Daniel s abilities have given him the opportunity to join the Emmy-award winning Cirque Du Soleil tour in North America as a drummer. It is an honor for Daniel to partake in such a flashy and artistic display of talented creation. Before his tour with Cirque Du Soleil is through, Daniel is going to release two solo albums-- one in Brazilian instrumental music, and the other in electronic style. Antonio Sanchez, a famous jazz drummer who has played with and released a number of titles with Pat Metheny, will be featured on this new release.
